The concept of the Grand Legacy Cay club at Legacy Cay, Bahamas is one of the amenities of the Grand Legacy Club "hybrid-fractional ownership" program. The island, purchased as an uninhabited, unbuilt parcel is in development to a full service, member owned, resort gateway. All buildings, amenities, and infrastructure will be constructed new in accordance with the master plan as designed by PDD.

Public arrival to the island will be by boat to a new dock. The dock will lead to a twin reception and administration buildings. Guest amenities will include a restaurant and bar, complete with open air deck seating areas. A fitness building and day spa building will encircle and open courtyard with a fountain. The perimeter of both buildings will have a exterior lounge/sunbathing areas with trellises. An infinity edge swimming pool will also be provided for the guest with open pavilions, covered cabanas and a pool bar. Tennis courts will also be built for the use by members/guests. The members/guests will be circulate to and from the villas units on an elevated deck system.

Island infrastructure is currently being developed and "Green" methods of energy capture and conservation will be incorporated as much as possible. The infrastructure will include water treatment, desalinization, and a cistern collection system. The two must available natural resources are he sun and wind. Solar power will be utilized to minimize the need of generators.
