The Lost Key Marina will be a new 83 ship marina located at the site of the former Rod & Reel Marina in Pensacola. As a jesuit of Hurricane Ivan the existing seawall was heavily damaged. Principle Design & Development, LLC has designed and engineered approximately 310-ft of seawall for the a new marina. The design consists of new 'steel sheet piling, concrete cap, tie rods and thrust blocks. Other elements of the design include mooring cleats for marginal berths, block outs for utility duct, and security fences. The design also includes an extremely robust concrete launch landing with structural capacity and geometry to accommodate the new 120,000 lb forklift which services the dry storage operation.
