Palm Cove Golf and Yacht Club, located on the North Fork of the St. Lucie River, had nearly completed expansion of the marina from 44-ships to 88-ships when back-to-back hurricanes struck the Palm City area in 2004. The new dock was almost completely destroyed. Principle Design & Development has been retained to re-locate and redesign the docks. The fixed docks are constructed of timber and utilize pressure treated piles. The ships are designed to accommodate boat lifts if the owner chooses to provide this option.
